Yoga

Yoga is een breed begrip. Veel mensen denken bij dit woord aan allerlei ingewikkelde of minder ingewikkelde lichaamshoudingen en regelmatig hoor ik mensen zeggen dat ze niet lenig genoeg zijn voor Yoga. Yoga is voor iedereen, lenig of niet. Iedereen mag bij Yoga in zijn of haar eigen proces ervaren wat het doet voor lichaam en geest. Yoga beoefenen we om dichter bij de kern van onszelf te komen. De fysieke houdingen zijn er om ons voertuig (het lichaam) soepel en sterk te houden, maar ook om energie te laten stromen, blokkades op te lossen en dieper in contact met ons lichaam te komen. We geven bij Elements verschillende vormen van Yoga en daarnaast ook Pilates, dus voor ieder wat wils. We hebben op dit moment groepen van maximaal 14 deelnemers voor voldoende bewegingsruimte tijdens de lessen in de sfeervolle gezellige Yogastudio.

Integrale Yoga

Integrale Yoga combineert lichaamsoefeningen met ademoefeningen en meditatie om de energie in het lichaam goed te laten stromen, het lichaam sterk en flexibel te laten zijn en rustiger in het hoofd te worden zodat je meer in contact komt met je essentie, met wie je echt bent. Integrale Yoga leert je ook om dit toe te passen in het dagelijks leven. De houdingen komen vanuit de Hatha Yoga, soms vloeiende bewegingen en soms statische houdingen. Het is echt een combinatie van beweging en rust. Deze vorm is geschikt voor (bijna) iedereen.

Vınyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa verwijst naar het gestructureerd en vloeiend combineren van houdingen ( asana’s) in combinatie met het ritme van de ademhaling. Hierdoor onstaat er een natuurlijke flow door bewust gecoördineerde bewegingen van adem en lichaam (vinyasa). De flow gaat vaak in een logische volgorde die een geleidelijke opbouw van kracht, flexibiliteit en bewustzijn mogelijk maakt. Op die manier gaat het een geheel vormen en laat het de energie optimaal door het lichaam stromen. Vanuit daar zorgt het voor het vergroten van de energie en verbeterde conditie.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga bestaat uit het aannemen van Asana’s (houdingen) afgewisseld met Savasana’s (ontspanning). Door het aannemen van Asana’s (houdingen) werk je aan kracht en stretch van de spieren, pezen en banden. De hartslag verhoogt en de ademhaling versneld. Door daarna te ontspannen in een Savasana help je het lichaam om zich te herstellen en de balans terug te brengen. De hartslag en de ademhaling nemen hun natuurlijk ritme weer aan. Deze Yoga is dus ook een combinatie van beweging en rust en is geschikt voor (bijna) iedereen.

Yin Yoga

Binnen Yin-Yoga worden de oefeningen gestaagd en regelmatig stationair uitgevoerd. Doordat er druk ontstaat op het skelet, wordt het bindweefsel langzaam opgerekt, gehydrateerd en soepel onderhouden. Naarmate we ouder worden beginnen onze gewrichten viscositeit te verliezen en onderscheidt Yin-Yoga zich door het bindweefsel te stimuleren. Dit kost tijd en geduld en leren we tijdens de houdingen lichamelijke en mentale sensaties waar te nemen.

Pilates

Pilates is een “bewegingssysteem” dat werd ontwikkeld om het lichaam terug in balans te brengen. Tijdens de oefeningen gebruik je je hele lichaam, met veel lengte, controle en aandacht. Het is zowel een fysieke als mentale training die je kracht, flexibiliteit, evenwicht en coördinatie verbetert, alsook stress wegneemt, concentratie verbetert en algemene gezondheid ten goede komt. Er wordt veel aandacht besteed aan de ‘core’, dus de buik- en rugspieren, maar ook de benen, billen, armen en borst komen aan bod.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra Yoga Nidra is lange geleide meditatie, een techniek van diepe ontspanning. Yoga Nidra is slaap met een spoor van bewustzijn. Het is een systematische methode om totale fysieke, mentale en psychische ontspanning teweeg te brengen. Met Yoga Nidra kom je in een bepaalde staat van bewustzijn, die tussen slapen en wakker zijn inzit. Je slaapt niet helemaal want je geest is er nog wel bij maar je lichaam en geest ervaren een diepe ontspanning.

Vınyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa verwijst naar het gestructureerd en vloeiend combineren van houdingen  ( asana’s) in combinatie met het ritme van de ademhaling. Hierdoor onstaat er een natuurlijke flow  door bewust gecoördineerde bewegingen van adem en lichaam  (vinyasa). De flow gaat vaak in een logische volgorde die een geleidelijke opbouw van kracht, flexibiliteit en bewustzijn mogelijk maakt. Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga bestaat uit het aannemen van Asana’s (houdingen) afgewisseld met Savasana’s (ontspanning). Door het aannemen van Asana’s (houdingen) werk je aan kracht en stretch van de spieren, pezen en banden. De hartslag verhoogt en de ademhaling versneld. Door daarna te ontspannen in een Savasana help je het lichaam om zich te herstellen en de balans terug te brengen. De hartslag en de ademhaling nemen hun natuurlijk ritme weer aan. Deze Yoga is dus ook  een combinatie van beweging en rust en is geschikt voor (bijna) iedereen.

Yin Yoga

Binnen Yin-Yoga worden de oefeningen gestaagd en regelmatig stationair uitgevoerd. Doordat er druk ontstaat op het skelet, wordt het bindweefsel langzaam opgerekt, gehydrateerd en soepel onderhouden. Naarmate we ouder worden beginnen onze gewrichten viscositeit te verliezen en onderscheidt Yin-Yoga zich door het bindweefsel te stimuleren. Dit kost tijd en geduld en leren we tijdens de houdingen lichamelijke en mentale sensaties waar te nemen. Yin Yoga

Binnen Yin-Yoga worden de oefeningen gestaagd en regelmatig stationair uitgevoerd. Doordat er druk ontstaat op het skelet, wordt het bindweefsel langzaam opgerekt, gehydrateerd en soepel onderhouden. Naarmate we ouder worden beginnen onze gewrichten viscositeit te verliezen en onderscheidt Yin-Yoga zich door het bindweefsel te stimuleren. Dit kost tijd en geduld en leren we tijdens de houdingen lichamelijke en mentale sensaties waar te nemen. Pilates

Pilates is een “bewegingssysteem” dat werd ontwikkeld om het lichaam terug in balans te brengen. Tijdens de oefeningen gebruik je je hele lichaam, met veel lengte, controle en aandacht.

Het is zowel een  fysieke als mentale training die je kracht, flexibiliteit, evenwicht en coördinatie verbetert, alsook stress wegneemt, concentratie verbetert en algemene gezondheid ten goede komt. Er wordt veel aandacht besteed aan de ‘core’, dus de buik- en rugspieren, maar ook de benen, billen, armen en borst komen aan bod.

Pilates
